Remembering Felicia

Sometimes we take for granted...... the little things in life

Special times...... special moments

Taking place right before our eyes

Yet we don't take the time to realize that all things change.

Even the things we treasure most

Only a memory will remain

So let's take the opportunity to share while we can...

Love and live each moment to the fullest

Over and over again

For time waits for no one

Not even me or you

But love lasts forever

Especially when its true

Gerard Drinkard

She is the daughter of Ann Drinkard Moss, one of the original members of the pioneering gospel quartet, The Drinkard Singers. They were best known for being the very first gospel group to perform at the Newport Jazz Festival and one of the first gospel groups to be signed to a major recording label (RCA Records). The other members of Felicia’s family include aunt and gospel music icon, Emily "Cissy" Houston, cousin Marie Dionne Warwick and the late cousins, Delia Juanita Warwick, Michele Emily Drinkard and Whitney Elizabeth Houston. At an early age Felicia began to hone her vocal craft under the direction of mother, Ann, Aunt Cissy and the legendary music director, the Reverend Donnie Harper.

After earning an associate’s degree in business administration, Felicia was introduced to gospel icon Tramaine Hawkins, who was so taken with Felicia’s vocal talents that she went on the road as a part of Hawkins’ opening act. This opportunity prepared Felicia to then go on the road singing backup for her cousin Dionne and subsequently with Gladys Knight, Patti La Belle and Stevie Wonder. However, for Felicia, the greatest touring experience came when she toured with cousin Whitney Houston, singing backup for over 10 years.

Since that time Felicia had broadened her musical horizons to include being minister of music for churches in the New Jersey tri-state area, forming her own company, One Spirit Productions and working as a studio vocalist for Sony Publishing. She also sang with Cissy on her “He Leadeth Me” album project and Dionne’s latest gospel project “Why We Sing”. Felicia joined other members of her family to record the single entitled “Family Comes First” for the soundtrack to Tyler Perry’s 2007 hit movie Daddy’s Little Girls.

Resolution for Felicia Moss-Eaton

In as much as it has pleased almighty God to remove from our midst our deeply respected and treasured Cousin, Board Member and Friend, Felicia Moss- Eaton, though heartbroken, we bow to the will of Almighty God.

Believing that God who knows all things, our beginning and our ending, who is the first and the last doeth all things well!

Felicia was blessed with an extraordinary gifts. One of the best was her singing voice. She was an anointed singer.

She was a talented woman. And was a gift to the International Dynasty Group.

Felicia was one of the first family members to join the company board. She could be counted on for sage advice, honest opinions while being firm and professional!

She was kind and welcoming to new members of International Dynasty as well as a mentor. Members of the company who  were blessed to meet her were elated and put at ease by her gentleness of spirit.

We are deeply saddened but know that she has found a home with God eternal in the heavens.

Therefore, be it resolved that her memory, work and Legacy will live on in her hearts, thoughts, and minds forever!
